IF you're here, we've filled up the first one. O.O.
This community is for reading, writing, reacting and responding in character! If you want to play:
First: you'll need to claim a character. This character will be the voice you speak in. So, if you pick Frenzy, all of your posts and comments should be in character *as Frenzy* and not you. Click
here to claim your character to see who has already been claimed, and if the one you want is available, leave a comment stating the 'verse or continuity and the character. (So we can have lots of Megatrons, for example--one from G1, one from TFA, one from IDW, etc).
Second, ideally, it would be helpful if you had an icon of that character to use here!
Third, once your character claim has been noted (I don't want to say 'approved'--that sounds...authoritarian to me, feel free to jump in!
Third, B: If the character you want is claimed, but you look and no one's actually posted as him/her in awhile (say, a month or more) note that in your claim, and bingo. Which means: if you want to keep your character, post at least once a month, okay?
Fourth: How to do eet! The rules
A rough rundown:
Once a week or biweekly (we have to work this out) The Mods will post a prompt. If it bites you, write a post for us (in character of course) telling us what that character thinks. This post should be in first person (Frenzy probably calls himself 'I' and not 'Frenzy' right?) and doesn't have to be a story. In fact, consider it almost as your character's blog response to a 'writer's block' question on LJ. Ideally, posts should be MINIMUM of 100 words. 300-500 would work best, if you want a target.
You can post, AND you can comment on others' posts--again, as your claimed character. Either one works, or you can do both! Role play these comments back and forth to your heart's content.
NO FLAMING. It's okay to argue in character (Megatron and Starscream, anyone?) but if it goes too far and it's not fun any more, just post 'FREEZE' as your comment and let's all agree that that's the end of that little role play, okay?
